What you get: MP4 (H.264 video + AAC sound)

Pinterest keeps an MP4 copy of most video pins. Its largest MP4 is 720p: for idea pins the streaming playlist tops out at 720 pixels wide (720×1280 for a vertical clip), and classic video pins list a 720p file. The tool reads the file itself and shows the real resolution and size before you save, for example 720×1280 and 2.2 MB for a 9.5-second idea pin in our test.

If the download does not show up on Xiaomi

  • Check File Manager › Download first: Open File Manager and look in the Download category; MP4 files also appear in the Video category.
  • Make sure the pin is public. Private pins and secret boards cannot be read without logging in, and this tool never asks for your Pinterest password.
  • Links expire after one hour. If a button stops working, paste the pin link again.
  • A pin.it short link must be complete: copy it again from Share › Copy link.

Frequently asked questions

Where do downloaded Pinterest videos go on Xiaomi?

Xiaomi says browser downloads go to File Manager › Download.

How do I find a downloaded Pinterest file on Xiaomi?

Open File Manager and look in the Download category; MP4 files also appear in the Video category.

Which app opens MP4 (H.264 video + AAC sound) on Xiaomi?

File Manager (Video category).

Can I choose another download folder on Xiaomi?

Browser downloads go to File Manager › Download.

What is the best quality I can get?

720p is the largest MP4 Pinterest stores (we show the exact size, e.g. 720×1280). The tool never upscales or renames a smaller file as HD.

Do I need an app or a Pinterest account?

No. It runs in the browser (the built-in browser or Chrome), with no sign-up and no app to install.

Is PinDownload part of Pinterest?

No. PinDownload is an independent tool and is not affiliated with Pinterest. It only reads public pins.

Can I download private pins?

No. Only public pins can be read without logging in; private pins and secret boards are out of reach by design.

Why is it 720p and not 1080p or 4K?

Because 720p is the largest MP4 Pinterest stores for video pins. Pages that promise 1080p or 4K from Pinterest cannot deliver a file that does not exist; this tool shows the exact pixel size instead.

Does the video keep its sound?

Yes, when the pin has a sound track: the MP4 carries AAC audio. If a pin has no sound track, the tool tells you before you save.
